Holy fashion! Comme Des Garcons’ latest collection shown yesterday March 3 in Paris is a complete telling reminder of why the brand and it’s designer, Rei Kawakubo, have such a cult-like following.
Kawakubo composed a collection entirely based in patterns cut in a classical manner, but then sewn together so the seams stick out rather than in, and the net result was a beautifully naive silhouette. LOVE the patterns, love the colors, love the shapes, love the collection! Thoughts?
